切換閥的開(kāi)關(guān)是由通過(guò)電磁閥來(lái)的信號(hào)壓縮空氣控制的。根據(jù)在流程中起的作用不同，有空氣、污氮切換閥，純氮抑制閥、污氮三通閥等。從結(jié)構(gòu)型式分，有立式和臥式兩種。立式切換閥又可以分為氣開(kāi)式和氣閉式兩種。氣開(kāi)式是指信號(hào)壓縮空氣斷氣時(shí)，閥瓣依靠自重能自動(dòng)打開(kāi)；反之為氣閉式。氣開(kāi)、氣閉的選擇由裝置的安全性確定。氮?dú)馇袚Q閥用氣開(kāi)式，空氣切換閥用氣閉式。
